Olympics, Gretzky and the Norwegians
O.K. I've become an Olympics junkie. So much that it is difficult for me to get any work done. My office is inside the student centre and there is a big screen TV and it is so easy to stand at the door and watch speedskating, hockey, or whatever happens to be on at the time. Today a student comes in an changes the channel to 'What not to wear.' ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I couldn't believe it, I still can't because they are out there watching it and I don't know what to do, I'm helpless, frozen in fear of what is happening to this generation.
Today I watched Canada a.m. and they had a question whether or not you think that the men's hockey team will win gold. 80 some % said no! I was again in shock. One person said that it was shameful to have Gretzky there representing our country. Seriously, people are stupid. Gretzky is called the Great One for good reason. On or off the ice he has always shown the best of Canada to the world. I love him. Tear.
So the Norwegians helped us gain a silver. When Renner broke her ski pole they helped her out. I think that is so cool. Hats off to the Norweigans!

Well basically some don't want to 'jinx' it and the others are morons.
I think a lot of people feel the scandal and the team go hand in hand when they really have nothing to do with each other.

That was so in! I'm watching the Swiss-Canada game and they didn't count a goal. I know it was tough to call, but they did have a blown up picture showing the puck over the line. Doh!
I don't know what's going on because I have posted something a couple of times. I will keep trying tho.
I don't like the deliscio commercial. I like the one where the two people are trapped on an escalator. Now that's funny.
