Glory of Youth

As Matt grows up, I do realize that he is losing his childhood innocense. Well, a couple of things that he had mentioned the other day reminded me that he is still a little boy. I wanted to share these with you.

There is a commercial for XM satelite radio on television right now where a man is sitting in his car and singing along to the words of an old 80's song, Cherry Pie.

Matt: "If I am a wrestler, I want that to be my music as I walk to the ring".

He and I were in the car, and we had talked about going to Blockbuster to rent some movies for the weekend.

Matt: "I don't like girl movies, but you know, almost all movies are girl movies. I mean look at Elf, it is a girl movie. There is kissing. Man, why do guys even want to make movies like that. If I made movies and they wanted me to kiss a girl, I would tell them, it would cost $3000.00 every five minutes for me to be in that movie."

Man, you gotta love it when they talk about wrestling entrance music. When I was a kid (ok a teenager) I would have picked Eye of the Tiger or something. If I had the choice now--yes I still think about "if was a wrestler"--I would probably choose the Vonage theme song.

I would use, 'Snowbird' by Anne Murray. Well? I am a girl.

That's really funny. It's good to know that he's not growing up too quickly. I miss you guys! When are you moving to Sussex again?
